Megan Adams (she/her) is an intimacy director/coordinator, choreographer, movement director, rehearsal director and teacher based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Megan trained in contemporary dance and ballet at The New Zealand School of Dance and works predominately in dance theatre, as a rehearsal director, choreographer and teacher. She has worked with the leading choreographers and dance companies in New Zealand and is the choreographic executor of the Douglas Wright Estate and restages his iconic choreographic works both in New Zealand and internationally.

Megan works as a choreographer and movement consultant for theatre and opera companies. She has worked with NZ Opera, Auckland Theatre Company, Nightsong Productions, Red Leap Theatre Company, Barbarian Productions and The Pop Up Globe.

Megan works as a choreographer and movement director in film.

Megan is a passionate dance educator and has taught movement and dance classes in tertiary institutions, schools and on community programmes. Megan is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher.
