Chelsea Steiner has spent the past twenty years working in the media and entertainment industry. She began her career as an agent trainee at International Creative Management (ICM), before launching a screenwriting career and joining the Writers Guild of America (WGA West). In her career as a screenwriter, Chelsea developed and sold projects at Disney, Imagine, Lifetime, NBC Universal, and Nickelodeon. She was elected Vice Chair of the LGBTQ+ Committee of the WGA West, becoming the first woman to hold a leadership position on the committee, where she advocated for inclusion, equity, and opportunities for queer and trans screenwriters and exponentially expanded committee membership to an all-time high.

Chelsea then pursued her lifelong passion for sex education, consent, and sex positivity at the Pleasure Chest, where she taught sex education classes both in-store, at conventions, and on college campuses. As a copywriter and social media manager, she spearheaded national campaigns for the brand, which focused on consent, education, and LBGTQ+ and reproductive rights.

Chelsea is a former roller derby girl and a black belt in judo, so she is not to be trifled with. She attended Stanford University, where she majored in Communication with a minor in Creative Writing.
